does alcohol dissolve in vinegar?Please read the details,this is an organic chemistry question?

I have heard for swimmers ear, use a mixture of alcohol and vinegar ,but according to organic chemistry one is COOH and the other one is H ,so don’t they make water and salt and in that case they will lose their effectiveness.Please advise if you have knowledge of chemistry.Thanks.

    The other is oh not and yes depending on which alcohol you use isopropyl alcohol you use it will dissolve in vinegar my guess is cooh and the other.
