Is biochemistry similar to organic chemistry, or is it similar to biology?

    For example it explains how glucose is metabolized to release energy you really need more to co2 through many steps to do with biology to appreciate what you really need more to appreciate what you learn in biochemistry has.

    It is a hybrid science. You need a good background in both biology and chemistry if you want to become a biochemist.
